It’s definitely a time of extremes for Kerala. After the lashings of rainfall and severe floods earlier last year in the state, it is now time for parts of the region to shiver with cold. The temperatures in Munnar – also the worst hit during the monsoon – have dropped to -3 degree C. While there is no snowfall as of yet, the streets and flora and fauna are covered in frost. Visitors to the hill-station are having a time of their life with unexpected shivers – the good kinds! It’s time to pull out the woolies, pull out the blankets and settle down with a nice hot cuppa tea in the Kashmir of the South! If you still don’t believe me, here, take a look at some pictures from the land of the mists and teas!
